I spent 10 years in academia researching how humans think and feel — and somehow came out of it with a PhD and strong opinions about American beer and brisket. I then spent another 10 years in tech turning complex concepts into products people actually use. I like ideas. The kind that start messy and unrelated, and slowly become something coherent if you look at them long enough. I’m not into hustle culture. I like depth, craft, and things built with care (and a bit of stubbornness). I tend to approach everything that way. I go through phases. I’ve smoked meat, sewn clothes, painted, brewed beer — mostly just to figure out how it works. Right now it’s trail running, which is basically regular running but with more mud and worse decisions. I have two kids, and I care deeply about equality of opportunity — in tech and everywhere else. If you join us, expect conversations about systems, cognition, parenting hacks, or why trail runners make questionable life choices.

I’m an engineer by training, but I found my real calling in the people and strategy behind the tech. I moved into leadership early on because I realized that while code is powerful, scaling teams is what actually makes my day.
After 20+ years leading global teams at companies like Google, Dropbox, and Twilio, I’ve learned that high performance and high empathy aren't mutually exclusive, they’re a requirement. I lead with integrity and benevolence, believing that the best work happens when people feel supported, seen, and empowered to take big swings.
I’m living in Paris, you can find me between SoPi and SoBa, I’m the happy father of 3 boys, 2 of which are identical twins. I’m into all kind of sports that happen on the water, my goto being Kitesurfing and a bit of surfing too (you’ll find me most of the summer around Tarifa), I love tennis, mountainbike and I’ve also been a certified plane pilot, but that’s a story for when we’ll share drinks.
